‘I read Hobbledown with my children and we all thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful and wacky world of Hobbledown that AJ Kecojevic has created. The quirky rhyming text, the crazy creatures and the bonkers geography all help to create a modern, yet classic tale. We look forward to more adventures in Hobbledown from this exciting new writer.’

Welcome to my world ...
Apart from Hobbledown -- an adventure park in Surrey, I have also written Hobgoblet and The Yeti of Krankville. Hobgoblet is under review and the Yeti is with Star Publications. I have just finished writing my first teen Gothic romance and I am now working on Elliott Wonderful, a children's adventure based in Oxford. I was voted runner-up in Writer of The Year 2013 for the Writers Bureau so I hope 2014 will be just as exciting! I run creative writing classes at several schools in Oxford which is a fantastic opportunity to keep up to date with what children love to read and write.
Apart from writing I love to create. The room in the picture above is actually a fairy house I am working on. These are bespoke and will be sold at craft fairs so watch this page for more images. Visiting schools to talk about my work is another fun part of what I do. Here are just a few comments from some of the lovely children and teachers I have met...
''It was very interesting listening to Angela (the real
author) read the story of Hobbledown."
"We liked touching and
feeling the special crystallites!"
"We enjoyed finding out how
Angela got the names of her characters from Hobbledown and we love going there
"I really enjoyed it when we got to play with the bubbles-
they were amazing because we tried our hardest to pop them but they
I just wanted to thank you on behalf of all of the staff and children at
Southfield park. It is wonderful to see the children so inspired to write- you
really captured their imagination. I had some wonderful feedback from the Key
Stage 2 teachers.
